What is NutriGenomics ?

Nutrigenomics is an exciting area of science that looks at how the food you eat and your DNA work together to keep you healthy. Your body has a unique set of instructions called genes, and this science explains how the nutrients in your meals can actually change how those instructions are followed by your cells. For example, some healthy foods might help turn on certain genes that protect you from getting sick, while other foods might affect people differently depending on their specific genetic code. Instead of every person in the world following the same diet, nutrigenomics helps experts figure out exactly what your body needs to stay strong and avoid future health problems (National Cancer Institute). It is basically like having a personalised owner’s manual for your body that tells you exactly which fuels will make you run the best, so you can feel your best every single day.
